Job summary

Open Bank is hiring an MIS Specialist to join the Management Information System team in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on designing methods to collect and retrieve data and maximizing system capabilities through thoughtful application analysis and recommendations.

The MIS Specialist will identify end-user requirements, provide technical support, and develop improvements to MIS processes. This role requires collaboration across departments and training staff on new applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in MIS, Computer Information, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for professional interactions.
• Accurate typing and basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, email).

Responsibilities

• Identify end-user requirements by building rapport with users and stakeholders.
• Provide user support for system functional, operational, and technical issues.
• Develop MIS processes to improve efficiency and data retrieval.
• Maintain and support MIS activities and reports.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems.
• Train staff on new applications and upgrades.
