Rosewood Miramar Beach, a Rosewood Hotel, is seeking a Server for Miramar Beach Bar, the oceanfront oasis of the Beach House, offering guests refreshing cocktails and bites in a lively ambiance. The Server will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest dining experience, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
• Ensure high standards are maintained daily.
• Know table/seat/station numbers, capacity, hours, setup, and dress code.
• Be familiar with all liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic drinks, glassware, and garnishes.
• Understand wine characteristics and maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and presentation standards.
• Follow state liquor regulations, including service to minors and intoxicated persons.
• Recognize VIP guests as designated by the hotel.
• Properly use and maintain equipment and POS systems.
• Serve food and beverages courteously and promptly.
• Anticipate and respond to guest needs, maintaining positive relations.
• Be knowledgeable about hotel services, local attractions, and respond to guest inquiries.
• Handle guest complaints effectively to ensure satisfaction.
• Exhibit friendliness, helpfulness, and courtesy at all times.
• Perform any other duties as required.

Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information concerning the company, guests, and staff.

Skills and Abilities:

• Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure, resolve issues, and work as part of a team.

Technical Skills:

• Ability to operate POS systems and maintain equipment.
• Physical ability to transport goods, work long shifts in hot and noisy environments, and use all senses to ensure quality.

Language: Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 20 pounds, endure physical movements, and communicate effectively.
• Work environment includes exposure to heat, cold, slippery surfaces, and kitchen appliances.

Qualifications:

• Valid Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service Certifications.

Experience:

• At least three years of restaurant service experience.

The pay rate is $16.50/hour plus gratuities, with an entry-level seniority and full-time employment status in the hospitality industry.
