Rosewood Miramar Beach, a Rosewood Hotel, is looking for an exceptional In-Room Dining (IRD) Server. The IRD Server will be responsible for providing Forbes 5 Star rated service and guest satisfaction, adhering to the standards of the property. Responsibilities include taking food and beverage orders, retrieving and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to guest rooms courteously and efficiently, collecting payments, and maintaining a clean, tidy work environment. The role requires discretion when entering guest spaces, respecting guest privacy, and creating memorable culinary experiences in their rooms.
Confidentiality: While working for the company, access to confidential information concerning the company, guests, and associates is inevitable. It is vital that all such information remains confidential and is not disclosed outside the company unless authorized.
Skills Required: Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, organization, good judgment, teamwork, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Technical Skills: Ability to perform job functions efficiently, work under pressure, operate equipment, differentiate food dates, and follow recipes. Physical stamina to handle an 8-12 hour shift in a hot, noisy environment is essential.
Language: Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are preferred.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, endure physical movements, and communicate effectively with guests and staff. The kitchen environment involves exposure to heat, cold, slippery surfaces, and various appliances.
Qualifications: Diploma or some college, valid Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service Certifications, Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Server ID, and minimum 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
Experience: At least three years of restaurant service experience, preferably in luxury or ultra-luxury settings, with hotel operational exposure being a plus.
The pay rate is $16.50/hour plus tips. This is a full-time, entry-level position within the management and manufacturing job functions in the hospitality industry.
