Job summary

The Boston Red Sox are seeking Minor League Seasonal Assistant Athletic Trainers for the 2027 season. Positions will be located at Worcester, MA, Portland, ME, Greenville, SC, Salem, VA or Fort Myers, FL, with start in Spring Training 2027 and ending after the minor league season.

The role offers hands-on experience with a professional sports medicine team, access to education platforms, and potential to work with Major League staff during Spring Training. Housing stipend provided.

Qualifications

• Must be ATC-certified or eligible to sit for BOC exam prior to start.
• Eligible for state licensure in affiliated state.
• Available full-time Feb–Sept 2027 for minor-league season.
• Spanish fluency a plus but not required.
• Prior strength & conditioning experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and management of injuries including prevention, evaluation, and rehab.
• Schedule and conduct athlete monitoring assessments for multiple programs.
• Assist proper documentation in the MLB EMR system.
• Support administrative duties and reporting procedures.
• Coordinate and administer infection control activities.
