Job summary

SchoolHiring, a division of ExpertHiring, connects educators with school districts to support students with diverse learning needs. We are seeking Minnesota-licensed Special Education teachers for on-site opportunities in Anoka, MN, and surrounding locations.

Positions are for the 2026-2027 school year with start ASAP. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, about 35–37.5 hours weekly, serving elementary through high school with a caseload of 8–10 students, depending on location.

Qualifications

• Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education teaching license is required.
• Experience in center-based special education settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction in center-based special education classrooms.
• Develop and adapt curriculum to meet diverse student learning needs.
• Differentiate instruction and respond to student behaviors.
• Establish and implement classroom behavior expectations and plans.
• Collaborate with parents, related service providers, and paraprofessionals.
• Provide direction and support to paraprofessionals working with students.
• Complete compliant special education documentation using appropriate forms.
• Support students in achieving academic, behavioral, and individualized goals.
