AHS Staffing is seeking a School Services School Special Education Teacher for a travel assignment in the Anoka, Minnesota area. The position is full-time, 13 weeks, with 37.5 hours per week and 12-hour days.

• MN Special Education Teacher License required.

Responsibilities

• Accommodate, modify and adapt lessons and curriculum as needed to meet individual student needs and IEP goals
• Support in the facilitation of IEP meetings as well as development of the IEP
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to developmental levels and interests of students
• Set and communicate clear expectations for classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and behavior modification as needed; assist in development and implementation of student behavior intervention plans
