Job summary

Grand Canyon University seeks an adjunct faculty member for the College of Theology on our traditional campus to teach Christian Studies courses in Youth Ministry, Pastoral Ministry, Biblical Studies, and Christian Leadership. The role focuses on engaging instruction using current technology and industry practices.

Responsibilities include facilitating discussions, assessing student performance, and guiding students toward academic and spiritual growth consistent with GCU’s Doctrinal Statement

Qualifications

• PhD from an accredited college or university in theology, philosophy, or ethics.
• Two years of ministerial or postsecondary teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Equip students with the required skill set for ministry and leadership.
• Facilitate weekly main discussion forums and online classroom engagement.
• Adhere to grading requirements and respond to student questions promptly.
• Model the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission.
