Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a Mining Specialist to grow industrial aftermarket mining sales across Eastern Wyoming and Southern Montana. You will engage end-users, repair shops, and engineers, applying our bearings, lubrication, and condition monitoring solutions to improve ore processing operations.

You will map customer needs, provide in-field technical support, and collaborate with sales/distributors to drive adoption of Schaeffler products in mining sites, ensuring reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Fluent knowledge of mining and mineral processing processes, equipment, and bearing applications.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with problem-solving ability.
• Effective written and verbal communication in professional settings.
• Good presentation skills for technical audiences.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
• Strong time management and goal-oriented execution.
• Self-directed with a proven track record of achieving targets.
• Collaborative leadership to drive results through influence.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Grow mining and mineral processing sales in the assigned territory.
• Develop relationships with end-users, repair shops, contractors and engineers.
• Engage maintenance, reliability, operations and purchasing to build trust.
• Understand customer operations to identify and solve problems.
• Apply Schaeffler products to improve customer operations.
• Identify market needs and support product/service development.
• Provide in-field technical support, troubleshooting and installation help.
• Map equipment, bearings, processes and operations to advise customers.
• Coordinate with sales and distributors to align customer needs.
