Job summary

FLSmidth is seeking a Solution Specialist to drive lifecycle service growth for Screen & Centrifuge offerings in the Eastern United States. You will identify opportunities, build client relationships, conduct on-site analyses, and support installations and wear reports.

You will travel up to 75% (domestic and international), collaborate with product, engineering and sales teams, and contribute to marketing materials while maintaining CRM records and delivering measurable value to customers.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Extensive knowledge of mining/industrial products and competitors.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Willing to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.
• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the mining/industrial industry.
• Experience with screen media consumable products is a plus.
• Able to read mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manage customers and their consumables throughout the product life cycle.
• Complete audits and reporting on performance metrics.
• Develop product pathways across the entire product range.
• Assess customer needs and recommend suitable products/solutions.
• Identify and develop new business in the Eastern United States region.
• Provide market feedback and customer insights to the business.
• Maintain opportunities in the CRM system.
• Monitor industry updates and changes in the product landscape.
• Perform health checks on customer sites and present feedback.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams across FLSmidth.
• Support marketing documents highlighting primary benefits of solutions.
• Be self-driven with minimal supervision.
• Support the Proposal department on complex solutions when required.
