Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Site Health and Safety Manager MOVA for a mining project, ideally in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The role focuses on directing safety strategies, coordinating training, and ensuring compliance with Hatch safety standards across offices and projects.

Responsibilities include leading hazard analysis, incident investigations, and safety plan development, with a preference for candidates exhibiting strong leadership, travel flexibility, and a commitment to a no-harm

Qualifications

• 10+ years of health and safety experience on major construction projects.
• BS Safety Management or related field preferred.
• CSP certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide health and safety strategies to achieve the goal of no harm on projects.
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure it is never compromised.
• Develop and implement Safety Management Plans for offices and projects.
• Coordinate health and safety training and competency development.
• Review contractor safety plans and safe operating procedures before work begins.
• Lead incident investigations and reporting; measure corrective actions.
