Job summary

Central Nevada Gold Corp. seeks a Contracts Specialist to lead contract administration for mine infrastructure projects. You will work with the Project Manager and Project Controls to define scope, pricing, and schedules, while ensuring compliance and timely closeout.

You will prepare RFPs, coordinate bidding, negotiate commercial terms, and maintain detailed contract records. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential in this cross-functional role.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract administration, procurement, or commercial management within mining or heavy industry.
• Knowledge of construction and service contracts, bidding, change orders, and claims administration.
• Ability to review scopes of work, pricing schedules, proposals, invoices, and supporting documentation.
• Strong negotiation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop contracting plans with the Project Manager aligned to the scope, schedule and priorities.
• Prepare RFPs, bid packages, scopes of work, and contract documents with technical teams.
• Coordinate competitive bidding, evaluate proposals, and support contractor selection and approvals.
• Negotiate terms within delegated authority and secure approvals before execution.
• Maintain contract files, amendments, and change orders with proper documentation.
• Monitor deliverables, milestones, notices, and obligations of contractors.
• Track contract values, changes, and payment status with Project Controls.
• Review payment applications against contract terms and coordinate verification.
• Coordinate contract closeout, including final payments and releases.
