OceanaGold Corporation is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to oversee scheduling, cost control, and reporting for a major project in South Carolina. The role involves developing master schedules, validating contractor schedules, and maintaining cost baselines using Microsoft Project and MS Office.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with heavy industrial projects, and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher engineering degree with relevance to heavy industrial projects.
• Strong scheduling, cost control, and budget management abilities.
• Experience using Microsoft Project and MS Office for reporting and analysis.

Responsabilités

• Track and update project master schedule and monthly contractor schedules.
• Prepare progress, cost, and cash flow reports for stakeholders.
• Review contractor proposals and change orders for cost impact.
• Ensure safety and environmental awareness across all project activities.
• Communicate clearly with multi-disciplinary teams and document findings.
