Job summary

Coeur Rochester is seeking a Process Operator to ensure safe and efficient operation of processing circuits and related equipment, including carbon-in-leach, resin-in-leach, elution, autoclaves, roasters, thickeners, and furnaces.

The role requires rotating night/day shifts and adherence to strict safety standards while maintaining sampling, data recording, and routine inspections to support plant performance. Entry-level candidates with a safety mindset are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in mining preferred.
• Will hire entry level based on experience.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position, including working in hot or cold weather conditions required.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work with minimum supervision required.
• Proven safety and attendance record required.
• Minimum of three to five years’ experience working in a processing facility preferred.
• Knowledge of high pressure/high temperature systems preferred.
• Direct experience working in the Process or Mining environment preferred.
• Experience in handling chemicals and reagents preferred.
• Experience in other phases of gold ore processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing circuits/equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-shift and pre-op inspections and workplace checks.
• Communicate pertinent information during shift relief.
• Follow good housekeeping practices.
• Only operate equipment or systems for which training has been provided.
• Comply with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and generate work requests for deficiencies.
• Maintain circuit operating parameters within designated limits.
• Ensure sampling is conducted at designated intervals and results documented.
• Understand process flows and perform LOTO and troubleshooting actions as required.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks.
• Perform other duties as required.
