Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years mining maintenance experience.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a parts coordinator.
• Mechanical understanding of mining process equipment.
• Computer literate with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong administrative, organizational and technical writing skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands per attached sheets.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance work with trade requirements.
• Manage materials ordering and direct purchase needs.
• Develop and oversee the area’s strategic business plans and budgeting.
• Monitor year-to-date cost performance and forecasts against actuals.
• Maintain effective communication with all levels of staff.
• Support department personnel development.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
