Job summary

Milford Mining Company Utah LLC seeks a Project Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems supporting mining and mineral processing operations across crushing, grinding, flotation, leaching, and SX/EW circuits.

You will read electrical schematics, work with PLCs, VFDs, and DCS, follow MSHA safety policies, maintain records, and assist with commissioning of new equipment and capital projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years industrial electrical experience in mining, processing, or heavy industry.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and documentation.
• Knowledge of safe electrical practices and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in the processing plant.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize reliability.
• Diagnose electrical issues in crushers, conveyors, pumps, and mills.
• Interpret schematics and support installation/repair activities.
• Work with PLCs, VFDs, and DCS to support process control.
• Collaborate with operations to improve system performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, MSHA regulations, and codes.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and capital projects.
