Allied Reliability is seeking an Area Operations Manager for Mining Operations to lead regional activities and drive profitability. Kiln experience is necessary and candidates should have a minimum of 10 years in mining or heavy engineering, including 10+ years in progressive management roles.

Qualifications

Related Bachelor Degree, MBA or Masters Degree is preferred.
Minimum 10 years experience in mining or heavy engineering.
Minimum of 10 years managerial experience with increasing responsibility.
Must demonstrate the ability to effectively lead a $50MM+ business unit.
Proven in leading operational excellence through behavior based management.
Prior experience demonstrating effective management skills in continuous manufacturing.
Demonstrable team work and maturity with a strong work ethic.

Direct and coordinate regional operations by established values, goals and policies.
Drive a team culture that empowers support functions to meet region-wide goals.
Execute and contribute to a long-range vision to achieve growth and profit.
Develop and create initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Provide direction and structure for operating units through accountability.
Drive continuous improvement to increase ROI and optimize workflows.
Mentor subordinates and support Succession Planning and career growth.
Collaborate across regions to share best practices and knowledge.
