Job summary

Panther Creek Mining, LLC, a subsidiary of Blackhawk Mining, LLC, seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR for its Powellton, WV mining complex. You will be the site HR leader, partnering with operations to drive engagement, compliance, talent acquisition, and organizational effectiveness.

The role emphasizes a hands-on, strategic HR approach to support an industrial workforce with adherence to FMLA, ADA, FLSA and other regulations, while advancing workforce development and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressive human resources experience.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR leadership as site advisor to management and employees.
• Lead workforce engagement, performance management, coaching and policy interpretation.
• Oversee full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and staffing planning.
• Administer benefits, payroll, timekeeping, and open enrollment activities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and conduct HR audits.
• Partner with safety and operations to promote a safe, compliant workplace.
