Job summary

i-80 Gold Corp is seeking an HR Generalist to manage daily HR functions at Lone Tree Mine with weekly travel to other sites. You will cover recruitment, employee relations, policy enforcement, and support for staff and management to ensure compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities include implementing new hire orientation, maintaining HR programs, and handling disciplinary matters while promoting a positive workplace culture across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required.
• Minimum 5 year’s experience in Human Resources.
• SHRM Certification preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
• Proficient with HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily HR functions at mine sites, including recruitment, employee relations, and policy enforcement.
• Support staff and management, ensuring compliance with employment laws and fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Administer and execute HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters and performance management.
• Facilitate employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
