Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair on mining equipment to keep operations safe and efficient.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Inspect machinery and identify potential problems before breakdowns.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs, including parts used and time spent on each job.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies while working on machinery.
• Work closely with operators and supervisors to minimize downtime.
• Mentor junior mechanics on proper techniques and safety practices.
• Ensure all repair work complies with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Adhere to safe work practices when handling heavy machinery, chemicals, and fuel.
