Job summary

Coeur Mining, Inc. is offering the 2026 Intern position at the Lead, SD site. The role provides hands-on exposure to mining operations and collaboration on real projects that add value to the company. Interns will work as a team to develop a presentation on an area for improvement and present it to company leaders.

The summer internship culminates in an expenses-paid trip to Chicago where interns meet leaders and network with peers across the company.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Adheres to safety procedures to ensure safe production.
Willing to work outdoors in varying conditions.
Capable of lifting 50 lbs occasionally.
Able to walk up and down slopes and uneven ground daily.
Strong academic performance in relevant coursework.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with peers to develop a group presentation highlighting a company area for improvement.
Participate in hands-on mining projects to gain practical experience.
Travel to Chicago for an expenses-paid internship trip and events.
Contribute to real projects that meaningfully impact mining operations.
