Job summary

Coeur Mining, Inc. in Lead, SD invites students to join as a Mechanical Intern for a hands-on, project-focused experience within our mining operations. You will collaborate on real projects, learn operations, and present findings to leadership as part of a group presentation.

Accommodation includes exposure to safety practices and team-based problem solving. The summer program culminates with an expenses-paid trip to Chicago for presentations, networking with company leaders, and opportunities

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or master's degree in the required field.
Follow all safety procedures to assure safe production.
Work outdoors and in varied environments with time on the job.
Able to lift 50 lbs on an occasional basis.
Strong academic performance in relevant coursework.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a group to create a presentation highlighting a company area of improvement.
Gain hands-on experience by contributing to mining project development.
Participate in an expenses-paid trip to Chicago for presenting projects to company leaders.
