Job summary

Coeur Wharf offers a 2026 Intern position that provides hands-on exposure to mining operations across a range of disciplines. You will collaborate with engineers, geologists and operators on real projects that drive improvements.

Each intern teams up to create a group presentation, travels to Chicago for an expenses-paid meeting with company leaders, and gains a well-rounded view of the mining sector while developing practical skills.

About the Job:

The 2026Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the development of cutting-edge mining projects. You will be exposed to various aspects of mining operations. This internship will provide you with a well-rounded understanding of the mining sector and the opportunity to work on real projects that make a difference.

Each intern will be creatively and technically working together to create a group presentation, highlighting a company area of improvement. The summer internship experience truly culminates with all interns traveling for an expenses paid trip to Chicago! This includes each group presenting their project, meeting and learning from key company leaders, as well as networking with their fellow bright early careers participants across the company.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or master’s degree in required field
• Follow all procedures and safety measures to assure safe production
• Work in all conditions and environments, varying amount of time on the job is outdoors
• Able to lift 50 lbs. on an occasional basis
• Able to walk up and down slopes and uneven ground daily
• Strong academic performance in relevant coursework
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
