Job summary

Coeur Mining is seeking a Fixed Maintenance Mechanic for the Coeur Rochester mine in Nevada, near Lovelock. The role offers a rotational schedule, comprehensive pay and benefits, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

You will perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on crushing and Merrill-Crowe equipment while upholding safety and operational standards. Candidate must have a high school diploma (Millwright preferred) and 2+ years of fixed maintenance experience in mining or heavy industry, with

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2+ years fixed maintenance in mining/heavy industry with conveyors, screens and crushing.
Working knowledge of Merrill-Crowe processing system.
Certification in oxygen/acetylene cutting, plasma cutting, MIG welding and electrode welding.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

Inspect, troubleshoot and maintain Three-Stage Crushing Facility and Merrill-Crowe equipment.
Conduct daily safety inspections of workplace and equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled PM services on fixed equipment.
Repair, rebuild and maintain pumps, conveyors, jaw and cone crushers.
Disassemble/reassemble equipment with supervision; read drawings and schematics.
Order parts, generate work orders, maintain organized work area.
Identify hazards and implement corrective safety actions.
Attend training on new technology or infrastructure improvements.
