Job summary

The Coeur Rochester mine, located in Nevada about 25 miles from Lovelock, is seeking an Assembly Line Planned Maintenance (ALMP) Mechanic to join the team. Enjoy comprehensive pay, a rotational schedule for work-life balance, and a generous sign-on bonus in a dynamic mining operation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ maintenance experience preferred.
• Outdoor work ~80% of the time; able to lift 65 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform regularly scheduled PM tasks and maintain lubricants.
• Complete preventive maintenance inspections of mobile equipment.
• Maintain and repair loaders, trucks, cranes, and other machinery.
• Inspect parts for wear and damage; troubleshoot hydraulics/mechanical issues.
• Create work orders and ensure a safe, clean mine site.
• Adhere to safety policies and conduct daily safety inspections.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regularly scheduled PM services and have knowledge of any and all current lubricants being used
• Complete preventive maintenance inspections of mobile equipment
• Maintain and repair equipment such as loaders, trucks, cranes, motor graders bulldozers
• Examine parts for damage or excessive wear
• Occasionally perform troubleshooting to all hydraulic and mechanical equipment
• Create work orders and job requests when necessary
• Maintain a clean and citation-free mine site environment
• Perform daily workplace and equipment safety inspections

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A vocational-technical college degree preferred
• 1-3 years’ experience in equipment maintenance preferred
• Work in all conditions and environments, approximately 80% of job is outdoors
• Basic computer knowledge
• Able to lift 65 lbs. on an occasional basis
• Able to walk up and down slopes and uneven ground daily
• Self-directed and able to take leadership role on many projects
• Willing to stop work for safety concerns and always abides by safety best practices, policies and procedures
• Rotation of work assignments to maintain training

Additional Information:

• Hourly Rate Range: $42.53 - $46.75 (DOE)
• Quarterly bonus up to $4,100 (up to $16,400 annually)
