Orica is seeking a Mining Field Technical Services Representative in Greencastle, PA. This field-based role supports customer Technical Services requirements and emphasizes product stewardship, delivering measurable value and sustainable revenue for Orica.

Role involves 25–50% travel within the greater Pennsylvania and Maryland territory, with typical day travel and occasional overnights. Travel abroad for training and meetings may occur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience as mining engineer or mining sales engineer.
• Knowledge of explosives industry and blasting applications.
• Experience with data acquisition tools and drone mapping.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% within Territory/Area.

Responsibilities

• Work with key clients to create opportunities emphasizing Orica technologies and blasting applications.
• Provide technical support to R&D, marketing, technical service, SHES and safety teams.
• Assist business teams in pre-bid evaluation of customers and potential opportunities.
• Train and develop local personnel; participate in Orica Technical Training Courses.
• Co-author papers/presentations to showcase client and company successes.
• Promote Electronic Blasting Systems (EBS) and technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with SH&E practices and regulatory requirements.
