Job summary

Orica in Warrenton, GA is seeking a Technical Services Engineer/Rep to support mining clients with blasting technology and product stewardship. You will deliver field-based technical service, training, and customer-focused solutions in the Georgia region.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, client engagement, and the adoption of new blasting technologies, with up to 75% travel across GA, NC, and SC. A full-time salaried position with competitive compensation is provided.

Qualifications

Mining engineering activities in explosives and blasting.
Mining/explosives product sales experience with client engagement.
Identify client needs and develop solutions within budgets.
Familiarity with data acquisition tools (Boretrak, laser profiling, photogrammetry).
Experience with drone mapping/photography.
Full-time salaried position.
Travel 75% within Georgia, North Carolina & South Carolina.

Responsibilities

Adhere to Orica Safe Operating Procedures and lead SHES issues with regulators.
Audit TS personnel competency to ensure compliance with Group Standards.
Lead teams to deliver technical projects with measurable value to customers.
Engage with potential clients to identify opportunities and support pre-bid evaluations.
Co-author papers/presentations to showcase Orica achievements.
Develop customer technical relationships and engagement plans.
Prepare technical method statements for tender responses and support Territory Managers.
