Job summary

Orica is seeking a Technical Services Engineer/Representative in Warrenton, GA, to support mining operations and client relationships through product stewardship, blast design, and broad service delivery. You will contribute across safety, compliance, and technical projects that deliver measurable value to customers.

Responsibilities include customer engagement, pre-bid technical support, and on-site troubleshooting, plus training and stewardship of blasting technologies.

Qualifications

• Mining engineering activities related to explosives and blasting solutions.
• Experience in mining/explosives product sales with clients and operations staff.
• Ability to identify client needs and craft solutions within budget.
• Familiarity with Boretrak, laser profiling, and photogrammetry tools.
• Drone mapping experience; valid drone pilot license required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Safety, compliance and leadership: uphold SHES standards and audit TS competency.
• Lead teams to deliver technical projects delivering measurable customer value.
• Engage customers to identify opportunities and present technical solutions.
• Provide field-based technical support and on-site problem solving.
• Coordinate product stewardship activities and training for customers and staff.
