Job summary

Ledcor is hiring Equipment Operators for mining teams in Nevada and Idaho. Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and support equipment. Join a team focused on safety, efficiency, and long-term career growth.

Ideal candidates have mining or heavy civil experience, must pass drug tests, and be able to work independently on rotating 10-12 hour shifts with LOA and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Experience in mining, heavy civil, or construction is an asset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks, water trucks, and support/utility equipment.
• Support loading, hauling, and dumping operations to keep production moving.
• Safely build and maintain pioneer and access roads in rough terrain.
• Load trucks efficiently and set up dumps to optimize cycle times.
• Complete pre-trip inspections and daily Field Level Hazard Assessments.
• Maintain equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Communicate clearly with team members across the site.
