Job summary

Ledcor Group is seeking Equipment Operators for mining teams in Nevada and Idaho. You will run a variety of heavy equipment, perform inspections, and support efficient loading, hauling, and road construction in rough terrain.

Applicants should have MSHA Part 48 certification, experience with heavy equipment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, outdoor setting. This is long-term site work with competitive benefits and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• MSHA Part 48 (surface, metal/non-metal) certification required.
• Experience operating heavy equipment preferred across mining, heavy civil, or construction environments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, excavators, graders, haul trucks, water trucks, and support/utility equipment.
• Support loading, hauling, and dumping operations to keep production moving.
• Safely build and maintain pioneer and access roads in rough terrain.
• Load trucks efficiently and set up dumps to optimize cycle times.
• Complete pre-trip inspections and daily safety checks.
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Communicate clearly with team members across the site.
