Job summary

Ledcor is hiring Equipment Operators for our mining teams in Nevada and Idaho. You will operate a variety of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and support/utility gear to keep production moving and roads safe in rough terrain.

Candidates should have mining or heavy civil experience, MSHA Part 48 certification, and the ability to work independently. A pre‑employment drug/alcohol test is required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment (dozers, loaders, excavators, graders, haul trucks, water trucks).
• Mining, heavy civil, or construction environment experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• MSHA Part 48 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks and support equipment.
• Support loading, hauling, and dumping operations to keep production moving.
• Safely build and maintain pioneer and access roads in rough terrain.
• Load trucks efficiently and set up dumps to optimize cycle times.
• Complete pre-trip inspections and daily field level hazard assessments.
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Communicate clearly with team members across the site.
