Freeport-McMoRan's Sierrita operations in Arizona are seeking a maintenance crafts professional to support electrical and mechanical systems. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and basic welding, while keeping a safe, orderly work environment and managing work orders.

Applicants should have 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent education, be able to read schematics, and pass required trainings and tests. The role may involve non-standard shifts in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in mechanical/maintenance crafts or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to read and understand schematics.
• Completion of required academic and practical competencies and passing written assessments when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance and lubrication.
• Maintain work orders and keep a safe, clean work area.
• May perform basic welding tasks (oxy-acetylene/ARC).
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
• Carry out other duties as required.
