Job summary

Heidelberg Materials offers internship opportunities in the Aggregates line of business in the United States. You will apply academic knowledge to field projects, support plant operations with production goals, and collaborate with engineers and production staff across departments.

You will learn departmental missions, manage multiple projects, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental rules while participating in internships and events.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mining Engineering or Geology.
• High level of work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Put your education into action in the field to support and participate in assigned project work.
• Support the plant operations in achieving production goals while partnering with engineers, managers, and production employees.
• Complete technical projects to understand quarry or aggregate site operations.
• Learn the mission of production, maintenance, and quality departments and different job functions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
