Job summary

Heidelberg Materials invites motivated students in Mining Engineering or Geology to join our team in Pennsylvania for a hands-on internship. You will support field and plant operations, work with engineers and production staff, and contribute to technical projects gaining practical exposure to quarry operations.

Members of our team prioritize safety, compliance, and collaboration, while offering Summer PTO and intern events.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mining Engineering or Geology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong work ethic and adaptability to changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Support plant operations to help achieve production goals.
• Assist in completing technical projects related to quarry/aggregate operations.
• Learn the missions of production, maintenance and quality departments.
• Comply with health, safety and environmental regulations and company policies.
