Job summary

The Heritage Group family of companies seeks a Mine Engineer Intern at its US Aggregates operations in Indianapolis, IN. You will work with operations, safety, quality, sales, and engineering teams to analyze production data and identify efficiency improvements.

You will contribute to a defined summer project, gain hands-on experience in aggregate production and mine engineering, and present findings to leadership at project completion. Some travel across Indiana sites is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Mining Engineering (sophomore to senior preferred).
• 1+ year of technical or internship experience preferred.
• Strong data analysis and communication skills requested.

Responsibilities

• Analyze daily operations and production trends to identify efficiency gains.
• Support root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and present a defined summer project with measurable outcomes.
