Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking interns in Mining Engineering or Geology to apply classroom knowledge in real field projects, supporting site operations and learning quarry/aggregate production processes.

You will work closely with engineers and production teams, gaining hands-on experience while focusing on health, safety, and environmental standards and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Current juniors and seniors working toward a degree in Mining Engineering or Geology.
  • Commitment and engagement through a high level of work ethic and utilization of abilities for the best of the company.
  • Demonstrated openness to change, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Work Environment:

Combination of office and field work. Exposure to various weather conditions. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
