Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is offering an internship in the United States for students pursuing Mining Engineering or Geology. You will apply classroom knowledge in field and office environments, supporting project work and collaborating with engineers and production staff.

You will participate in technical projects to understand quarry operations and learn the roles of production, maintenance, and quality departments while adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Currently a junior or senior pursuing a Mining Engineering or Geology degree.
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Work Environment:

• Combination of office and field work.
• Exposure to various weather conditions.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform manual labor tasks as needed.
