Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is offering an internship in the Aggregates line of business in Texas. Juniors and seniors pursuing Mining Engineering or Geology will work in a hybrid field/office environment assisting project teams on site.

The program emphasizes learning the mission of production, maintenance, and quality departments, with exposure to production goals and environmental, health, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Currently juniors and seniors pursuing a degree in Mining Engineering or Geology.
• Commitment and engagement through a high level of work ethic and utilization of abilities for the best of the company.
• Demonstrated openness to change, flexibility, and adaptability.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform manual labor tasks as needed.
