Typically, 36-40 hours a week.In person. 9/80 schedule if applicable.**What you’ll do:**Day to day work assignments could include:* Assignments will involve learning all aspects of working at a site including Mine Planning, Operations Optimization, Quality Control, Mapping and more.* Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, plant operators, engineers (of various disciplines), tradespersons, and contractors.* Participation in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment.* Adhering to Mosaic’s mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies.**What you’ll need: *** Junior level or above by May 2027 pursuing a bachelor's in Mining Engineering.* 2.75 GPA or higher* Ability to function in an industrial chemical and mining environment.* 1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is preferred.* Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.* Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.* Ability to work full time and be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship* Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination.* Basic computer skills are required* Experience working in a team environment is a must* Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable* Effective verbal communication skills is a plus* Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environmentsThe physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job.
