Job summary

CA Mining seeks a General Manager to lead the Mining Division for an OEM with a strong surface mining footprint. You will oversee sales, after-sales support, parts planning, and distribution across RSA and sub-Saharan markets, ensuring staff alignment with strategic goals.

You will drive budgeting, performance management, and stakeholder engagement with both national and global customers, while upholding EH&S and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales and aftersales within surface mining.
• Proven ability to lead teams in commercial and business applications.
• Strong network and business development mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all mining division activities: sales, aftersales, parts planning and distribution.
• Ensure operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, service excellence through Excellence Programs.
• Develop and enforce business plans, budgets, and investment strategies.
• Manage working capital: inventory, WIP, AR.
• Drive growth and maintain relationships with national and global customers.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
