Summa Health in Akron, Ohio invites a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join our employed physician group. The role includes focus on MIGS and pelvic medicine, with a broad scope of pelvic health services and no obstetrics.

We seek leaders in evidence-based care within a large academic-practice network. The candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, with opportunities for an academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University.

Qualifications

• Completion of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship.
• Unrestricted Ohio medical licensure or willing to obtain.
• Active involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education.

Responsibilities

• Provide MIGS and pelvic medicine care within Summa Health.
• Participate in education of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon

Summa Health - Akron, Ohio

Summa Health is seeking a MIGS Specialist to join our employed physician group. We are currently considering surgical applicants. The surgeon should also have an interest in pelvic medicine. Our practice includes all aspects of pelvic health including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgery. The position does not include obstetrics.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. Summa Health - headquartered in Akron, Ohio - is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state. With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region.

Opportunity Highlights
