Summa Health in Akron, Ohio seeks a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) for our employed physician group. Board-certified OB/GYN with MIGS fellowship preferred; unrestricted Ohio licensure required.

The surgeon will focus on pelvic medicine without obstetrics, and participate in medical student and resident education. The practice covers a broad spectrum of pelvic health and offers a 0.8–1.0 FTE, with 3 in-office days and growing OR time, plus an academic appointment with NEOMED based

• Board-certified OB/GYN with MIGS fellowship.
• Active involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education.
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered, team-based care.
• Ability to work in a multi-specialty Summa Health Medical Group setting.
• No obstetrics in the scope of the MIGS role.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIGS procedures and contribute to pelvic health care.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, radiology, and sub-specialists across sites.
• Participate in education and scholarly activities within NEOMED affiliation.

Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon

Summa Health is seeking a MIGS Specialist to join our employed physician group. We are currently considering surgical applicants. The surgeon should also have an interest in pelvic medicine. Our practice includes all aspects of pelvic health including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgery. The position does not include obstetrics.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. Summa Health - headquartered in Akron, Ohio - is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state. With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region.
