Summa Health is seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) to join our Akron, Ohio employed physician group. The role emphasizes MIGS with a strong interest in pelvic medicine, covering pelvic health issues from pain to endometriosis, while excluding obstetrics.

The candidate will be part of Summa Health Medical Group, a large multi-specialty practice, with opportunities for academic appointment and sign-on incentives.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Completion of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship.
• Unrestricted Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain.
• Active involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education.
• Commitment to evidence-based, standardized care in a patient-centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide MIGS surgery and pelvic health services within Summa Health Medical Group.
• Collaborate across specialties to manage pelvic conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, and pelvic pain.
• Practice includes both in-office and operating room duties with a pathway to OR case growth.
• Operate within Summa Health’s Epic EMR system and contribute to educational activities.

Summa Health is seeking a MIGS Specialist to join our employed physician group. We are currently considering surgical applicants. The surgeon should also have an interest in pelvic medicine. Our practice includes all aspects of pelvic health including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgery. The position does not include obstetrics.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. Summa Health - headquartered in Akron, Ohio - is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state. With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region.
