Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) to join our employed physician group in Akron, OH. The role emphasizes pelvic health beyond obstetrics and will involve teaching and academic collaboration with Northeast Ohio Medical University.

Qualifications

• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Completion of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery fellowship.
• Active Ohio medical licensure or willingness to obtain.

• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered, team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Perform Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery procedures.
• Contribute to pelvic medicine care including pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis and vulvar disease.
• Collaborate with the Summa Health Medical Group across multiple sites.
• Educate medical students, residents and fellows.

Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon

Summa Health - Akron, Ohio

Summa Health is seeking a MIGS Specialist to join our employed physician group. We are currently considering surgical applicants. The surgeon should also have an interest in pelvic medicine. Our practice includes all aspects of pelvic health including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgery. The position does not include obstetrics.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. Summa Health - headquartered in Akron, Ohio - is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state. With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region.
