Job summary

Seattle MINI, part of Scharmach Automotive Group, seeks a skilled technician to grow with the MINI brand and complete factory training. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair MINI vehicles to BMW Group specifications in a clean, detail-oriented shop environment.

This role requires at least 2 years of automotive repair experience, proficiency with diagnostic tools, and a valid Washington driver’s license. Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
• Washington State driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on MINI vehicles using factory diagnostic tools and software.
• Perform maintenance such as oil services, brakes, tire rotations, and fluid services.
• Repair or replace major components to MINI/BMW specifications.
• Record video multipoint inspections per department process.
• Document all work clearly with findings, repairs, and parts used.
• Communicate with service advisors about findings, timelines, and costs.
• Follow safety and environmental standards and complete factory training.
