Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking part-time mini bus drivers to safely transport children to and from our school programs. Drivers will cover routes in and around the Hanover area and the Richmond region, with limited hours offered.

CDL drivers must hold Virginia licenses with endorsements P and S and air brakes, be 21+, or Mini bus drivers with Virginia license and 20+ years old, ready to drive multiple YMCA routes.

Qualifications

• CDL drivers must hold a valid Commonwealth of Virginia CDL with endorsements P and S and air brakes, be 21+ with a HS diploma or GED, and have a solid driving record.
• Mini bus drivers must have a valid Virginia driver’s license, a good driving record, be 20+ with a HS diploma or GED, and be ready to drive routes for all YMCA branches.
• Candidates should possess strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills for daily coordination and safety.

Job description

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is currently seeking part-time Mini bus drivers to safely transport children to and from our school programs. Looking for drivers within and/or around the Hanover Area. This position has limited hours. Salary range is $17-$19 per hour.

QUALIFICATIONS for CDL/Mini Bus Drivers

CDL drivers: Candidates must have a valid CDL Commonwealth of Virginia driver's license, a good driving record, endorsements P and S, be at least 21 years old and a high school diploma or GED. We are also looking for candidates with strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills as they will be essential in this role. Must have air brake endorsements and willingness to drive routes for all Y branches in the Richmond area.

Mini bus drivers: Candidates must have a valid Commonwealth of Virginia driver's license, a good driving record, be at least 20 years old and a high school diploma or GED.
