Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking part-time Mini bus drivers to safely transport children to and from our school programs in the Richmond area.

CDL drivers must have a Virginia CDL with endorsements P and S, air brake endorsements, be at least 21, and hold a high school diploma or GED. Mini bus drivers must have a Virginia driver's license, a clean driving record, be at least 20, and hold a HS diploma or GED. The Y values diversity and community service.

Qualifications

• Valid Virginia driver's license with a good driving record.
• CDL applicants must have endorsements P and S and air brakes.
• Be at least 21 (CDL) or 20 (Mini Bus) with a HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children to and from school programs.
• Follow YMCA safety rules and designated bus routes.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and log routes as required.

Job description

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is currently seeking part-time Mini bus drivers to safely transport children to and from our school programs. Looking for drivers within and/or around the Hanover Area. This position has limited hours. Salary range is $17-$19 per hour.

QUALIFICATIONS for CDL/Mini Bus Drivers

CDL drivers: Candidates must have a valid CDL Commonwealth of Virginia driver's license, a good driving record, endorsements P and S, be at least 21 years old and a high school diploma or GED. We are also looking for candidates with strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills as they will be essential in this role. Must have air brake endorsements and willingness to drive routes for all Y branches in the Richmond area.

Mini bus drivers: Candidates must have a valid Commonwealth of Virginia driver's license, a good driving record, be at least 20 years old and a high school diploma or GED. We are also looking for candidates with strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills as they will be essential in this role. Must be willing to drive routes for all Y branches in the Richmond area.
