Caterpillar Inc. is hiring a MineStar Application Specialist at the Bagdad Copper Mine in Arizona to support autonomous haul trucks and MineStar technology on site.

You will partner with Caterpillar's engineering teams, provide field support, and build dashboards with Power BI while working a 7x7 day/night shift roster and relocation assistance. This role offers hands-on problem solving in a dynamic mining environment.

Qualifications

• Technical excellence in mining technology and machine control systems.
• Experience providing field support on site with complex hardware and software.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve operational challenges on autonomous systems.

Responsibilities

• Support customers by providing MineStar application expertise on site.
• Consult with customers to improve operations using MineStar technology.
• Ensure correct organizational support for mining technology on site.
• Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI.
• Mentor junior team members and train site staff.
