Job summary

Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems seeks an Application Engineer to support equipment sales and process design for Minerals and Chemicals. You will review customer applications, prepare technical and commercial solutions, and coordinate customer tests to validate performance and ensure satisfaction.

The role involves identifying leads, preparing quotations, maintaining CRM, and supporting marketing with materials and events.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with industrial or process equipment sales.
• Ability to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience developing and presenting solutions in a team environment.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to exchange technical information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify sales leads through calls, emails, meetings, and trade shows.
• Review customer specifications and recommend equipment and process solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and cost estimates using Word and Excel.
• Coordinate customer trials and testing activities domestically and internationally.
• Maintain CRM records, run sales reports, and analyze market trends.
• Support marketing with sales materials, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
