Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Lead Person to join our team in South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated. This role involves ensuring daily work complies with company safety standards, communicating goals, and supervising a team to meet production targets.

Travel to quarry locations is required; hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with overtime as needed. You will participate in safety committees, train co-workers, and help develop maintenance plans with

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) years of experience in the building materials, mining or aggregates industry.

Responsibilities

• Communicate standards of excellence in daily work assignments to meet safe production as outlined by Management.
• Perform standard office and plant duties, inspect safety and housekeeping, and repair equipment as needed.
• Maintain daily production, safety and maintenance reports; contribute to training of co-workers.
