Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Field Permitting Specialist to join the Mine Environment team on a full-time basis. Hybrid work in the United States with Nevada preference, partnering with senior specialists on challenging permitting and environmental projects in the mining industry.

You will perform data collection, analysis, permitting support, field program design, and technical reporting; collaborate with US and global teams; and contribute to project success while upholding safety and quality

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication for reports and client presentations.
Capable self-leadership with attention to detail and prioritization.
Ability to work independently and in hybrid teams.
Experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams in a consulting setting.

Responsibilities

Support mining project data collection, interpretation, and permitting activities.
Assist with baseline studies and reclamation/remediation efforts.
Develop and review field program designs and data quality controls.
Prepare high-quality reports within scope and budget.
Engage with clients to maintain productive relationships and deliverables.
Promote a safety-first approach in all field activities.
